The short film, Monkeylove bagged another accolade when recently, it was awarded the special award at the Sapporo Short Film Festival in which Hiroaki's mother was presented with the award in an emotional moment. In accepting the award, she solemnly expressed her appreciation:

    the film, the occasion and, above all, the man himself, Hiroaki-san simply called for it.
    if ever there was such a thing as redemptive recognition, this is it.

    Monkeylove - the greatest video that I watched recently at the Arts House..

    I cried with the show.. The part when the monkey mentioned about the chance (for love)

    Maybe I am in that situation right now.. I asked him if I have the chance to work with him or not.. however, there is simply no answers from him.. Instead, only wish and hope that I have to do...

    Well, it is really a nice video clip.. I say thumbs up..
